Kachina de los Cielos: Half Mangalarga Marchador / half Mustang filly at 3 days of age.  Will be pure black.  Already demonstrates picada gait and classic conformation of her sire improved by her mother’s powerful haunches. Out of Gypsy, unregistered Mustang mare; by Ninja de Sao Joaquim, Mangalarga Marchador ,Brazilian champion stallion.

3. Allegria de los Cielos: Purebred bay filly at 6 months of age, here shown demonstrating picada gait. Will mature to >15H. Already incredibly swift and smooth.  Loving temperament with lots of spirit. Eligible for registration as a purebred Mangalarga Marchador in both the US and Brazil. Possibly our smoothest gaited foal yet. Out of Fiesta do Campo Real by Ninja de Sao Joaquim. Note:  triple hoof support, offset timing of same-side paired legs, over-reach, flat back.

Note: moment of triple hoof support, syncopated timing of diagonal paired hoofs, over-reach.

1. Jaina do Passo Fino: our pride and delight. Foundation Mangalarga Marchador Mare, 12 years old, 15.2H. Imported in 2000. Brazilian National Champion in 1999.  Grand-daughter of revered Herdade Cadillac. Proven producer of smooth gaited, elegantly conformed, baroque-built, dedicated batida foals.  Herself a natural athlete, with a smooth, racing batida clocked at 22 mph. 4. Fiesta do Campo Real: foundation Mangalarga Marchador brood mare imported from Brazil in 2002. Herself a joy to ride, smooth picada and gentle, centered batida. Beautiful bay with sculpted face. Now 13 years old, all foals smooth, picada-gaited, athletic and sweet-natured. Our best  picada foals are hers. By Conde Trimonte out of Barbie do Campo Real.

5. Our “Gypsy”: 14.3H, “bombproof” 15 year black unregistered Mustang Mare.  Bred from U.S. Cavalry horses.  “Spanish” conformation, ambles all day, “rocking horse” canter, consistently gives gaited foals from gaited sires. We have no horse we trust more with precious cargo.

1. Ninja de Sao Joaquim: Foundation Mangalarga Marchador stallion, Brazilian regional champion and registered in the book of the Elite.  Imported in 1999. Out of National champion mare, Gazela de Sao Joaquim; by Regional champion stallion, Imperador A.J., grandson of revered Abaiba Gem. 46 progeny in Brazil, including other Champions. Gets gaited foals, even from out-crosses.  Our own “New World Sport Horse” with the smoothest picada (as above), swift, centered batida, a dressage quality trot (when you ask for it), a race horse gallop,  natural jumping ability, and our star dressage performer.
